Mark Eisner

Mark has been the co-founder of a number of start-ups in his 45-year career in software product companies. His role in these start-ups has been CTO or Chief System Architect, where he has provided key software innovation and solutions. Mark holds a dozen patents that are either granted or are currently in process at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Mark is the co-founder of several other software start-ups, where he has provided important technical innovations. He has been an innovator in data interoperability technology since the early nineties. Mark is the primary author of the public open-source data interoperability messaging standard, MDMI, which is in use in major corporations and federal government agencies all over the world.

As Managing Partner at MarLyn Consulting, Mark provides technology consulting to early-stage companies. He leverages his many years’ experience with patents to provide a "patent engineering" service. He has been an active participant in the patent prosecution process, providing technical support to the USPTO examiner's office. In addition, he has experience in patent litigation where he has learned the difference between a patent and a good, robust patent.
